Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes North East, has reached a milestone by welcoming its 100th resident to its Barratt Homes’ Grey Towers Village development in Middlesbrough.
The development, a popular community of three, four and five-bedroom homes nestled within 20 acres of open space in Nunthorpe, has now seen its 100th resident settle into their new home. The popularity of the development and its community has even attracted new businesses to the area, including a crèche, a local pub, and an on-site Miller & Carter restaurant just a 10-minute walk away.
First-time buyers Ella Patience and Tom Maddocks were keen to find their dream home, and set their sights on Grey Towers Village. After taking a tour of the show home, the couple decided on the three-bed Ellerton house type, which features an open-plan kitchen diner with a spacious lounge.
The location of Grey Towers Village was perfect for the couple’s move, thanks to the surrounding nature trails and woodland walks, which was especially important as they both love living close to the countryside. Ella’s mother and sister also live on the development, making it the ideal location for the 100th residents.
Speaking on their move, the couple said: “We are delighted with our new home in Grey Towers Village, especially as the process was made so much easier thanks to the very knowledgeable team who were so accommodating throughout. It truly is such a lovely place to live, and we love that we’re surrounded by country walks, duck ponds, and we also have lovely neighbours! We are so happy we moved with Barratt Homes, and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for their new home.”
Hayley Neale, Sales Manager at Barratt Homes Grey Towers Village, added: “We’re so pleased to be welcoming Ella and Tom onto Barratt Homes’ Grey Towers Village development as the 100th residents to move in, which is a huge milestone!
“It’s really exciting to see this community continue to grow, and we look forward to welcoming other households over the coming months as we release more homes.”
