Award-winning visitor attraction, Whitehouse Farm Centre based near Morpeth in Northumberland, is delighted to announce its best ever audience numbers and revenue figures for an August bank holiday weekend in their 21-year history.

The Farm’s ‘Magical Unicorn Weekend’ sprinkled some enchanting fairy dust on to its impressive figures as Whitehouse Farm posted a staggering 69% income increase and 61.5% attendance rise compared to the same time last year.

“Whitehouse Farm is just going from strength to strength,” said Karen Lovatt, Operations Director at Whitehouse Farm Centre.

Whitehouse Farm Centre also worked with local firm KL Pony Therapy to bring the Magical Unicorn Weekend to life. They provide therapy ponies to events and places like care homes and hospitals.

Whitehouse Farm Centre deliver over 30 specialist seasonal themed events spread over the year including Easter and Christmas spectaculars.

Karen added: “Our Magical Unicorn Weekend just proves how the Farm is becoming a must visit attraction for families all year round. The themed events are massive hits as they capture the imagination of visitors and work to the strengths of the site.

“We are proud to have a unique experience that people are coming back to enjoy in their droves, time and time again, whether it’s for a school’s education programme or to see Santa and his elves at Christmas. Long may it continue!”

One of the future events to grace Whitehouse Farm Centre is Jurassic Farm on 22 and 23 September, where people can meet the roar-some T-Rex.
