Miller Homes Completes Tough Mudder Challenge For Wakefield Hospice

Miller Homes Tough Mudder team present Wakefield Hospice with their donation.

A team of employees from a popular Yorkshire based housebuilder have raised an amazing £4,615 by taking on their own personal Tough Mudder challenge.

The team, from Miller Homes Yorkshire, chose to take on the challenge and raise money for Wakefield Hospice, a charity close to their hearts and one which they have been proud to support in the past.

“Wakefield Hospice is a vital part of our community and relies completely on donations to be able to continue to support those that need help in the most challenging circumstances,” said Tony Haigh, SHE Manager, Miller Homes Yorkshire. “The least we could do was tackle a challenging event and it was great to see the team spirit and camaraderie that we all displayed to make it to the finish line!”

During this year the housebuilder has raised almost £5,700 for the charity.

Keeley Harrison Fundraising Manager, Wakefield Hospice said; “We rely heavily on donations to provide care and support to the people of Wakefield and our warmest wishes go to the Miller Homes team for their support this year. It really does make a difference to have the support of Miller Homes and we hope to continue to work with them in the future.”

The housebuilder continues to invest in the Wakefield community. Its City Fields development is nearing the completion of its first phase with just three homes remaining. City Fields II will launch in the coming months when a further 38, three and four bedroom homes will bring much needed homes to the community and this amazing investment project for the city.

It is also currently planned to launch in excess of five new developments throughout the county during 2020.
