Miller Homes North West Supports Warton Church Roof Campaign

Miller Homes, who have been building award winning homes for more than 80 years, has donated £250 to St. Paul’s Church in Warton to support their fundraising efforts for a new roof for the historic building.

The housebuilder is bringing new homes to the village with their Blackfield Green development on Church Road, bringing much-needed quality new homes to the area. The development will bring 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes in a variety of styles to suit all buyers, from those taking their first step on the property ladder to growing families.

St. Paul’s Church offers the growing village the only place of Christian worship and plays a pivotal community role. The current church building dates from 1886, and the current roof is affected by leaks. The key project has seen 5 years of fundraising in order to replace the original slates on the roof.

Leanne Feeley, Regional Sales Manager for Miller Homes in the North West, comments: “We are delighted to be bringing new homes to Warton, and we’re always looking to how we can help out the local community. The church is a hub for community gatherings, and we’re only too happy to be able to help with a donation to ensure this historic building remains safe and comfortable for decades to come.”

Ian Fraser, Church Warden for St. Paul’s, adds: “The church roof project is one we have been working on funding for many years, and it’s fantastic to have the support of local businesses such as Miller Homes.”
