Houghton le Spring-headquartered Pacifica Group has received national praise following a series of prestigious award successes.
The home services firm won the Social Responsibility Company of the Year award at the 2018 National Energy Efficiency Awards.
0800 Repair, a subsidiary of Pacifica Group, was also recognised at the awards ceremony as it received a Special Commendation in the Multi-Measure Project category with EDF Energy and Durham County Council.
0800 Repair was also Highly Commended in the Boiler & Heating Installer and Contractor of the Year category at the regional North East Energy Efficiency Awards, earlier in the year.
The Energy Efficiency Awards recognise the achievements of companies operating within the energy efficiency sector across the UKand their delivery of Government initiatives, including the renewable technologyand Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme.
Pacifica Group’s has enjoyed a strong year, achieving record revenues of £27.2m in 2017 and expects to grow further to £35m in 2018.
Over the course of the year, the Group has carried out in excess of 10,000 insulation works and 8,000 boiler installations, delivering an estimated, combined saving of 60,000 tons of carbon and £105.5m of lifetime bill savings.
This latest award success follows its Highly Commended recognition at the 2018 H&V News Awards in the Domestic Heating Contractor of the Year category. The H&V News Awards are regarded as the leading and longest running awards ceremony for the construction, heating and plumbing industry.
