North Shields care home celebrates ‘Outstanding’ success in CQC report

HC-One’s Redesdale Court care home in North Shields has received its second consecutive ‘Outstanding’ rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which is the highest possible rating.

The residential and residential dementia care home has joined the top 3% of adult social care services with the CQC’s highest rating following its latest inspection, making it one of the very best in the country.

The glowing assessment of Redesdale Court carried out by the CQC, which rated the home as ‘Outstanding’ in both Caring and Well-Led categories, mentioned that the staff at the home are ‘extremely caring’. Both residents and relatives were able to give numerous examples of how staff went ‘above and beyond’ to meet people’s needs.

Feedback from residents and visitors about Redesdale Court is noted in the report to be ‘consistently positive’, a number of residents and relatives stated how lucky they felt to have found the home.

To celebrate Redesdale Court’s CQC report, the home will be opening its doors to the local community on Tuesday 16th July, all are welcome to come along and join residents and staff at the home for the fun-filled day of celebrations.
Located on Rake Lane, just outside of North Shields, Redesdale Court offers short and long term care packages for older members of the community needing residential and residential memory care, for those living with dementia.

Redesdale Court is preparing for the highly anticipated grand opening of their newly refurbished 17 bed residential suite, which will be open for admissions from Monday 22nd July 2019.
