Silicon Yorkshire, one of the fastest growing tech communities in the North, will host its next drinks evening at Box in Leeds city centre on Wednesday 29 March from 5.30pm – 11pm.
Those registering free to attend will be welcomed with a complimentary drink before meeting with other executives and digital experts from the wider tech sector.
As the third event to take place in Leeds, with previous drinks evenings and lunches having been over-subscribed, it is expected that this event will attract hundreds of senior leaders from the tech community that want to share experiences and make connections.
Board Director of Silicon Yorkshire, David Cusworth, comments: “Events that we host in Leeds are always very well attended and typically attract hundreds of people that want to come together to meet, chat and get to know each other.
“There is always a great atmosphere, which is less formal and more friendly. There is no need for an elevator pitch, just a smile and the willingness to get to know other and possibly buy a drink or two during the evening.
“There is no hidden agenda, it’s a very relaxed approach that encourages introductions and discussion. We look forward to meeting familiar faces and to attracting new members to the group too.”
Attracting 3,000 pre-registrations before launch, Silicon Yorkshire brings executives and senior executives from technology ecosystems throughout Yorkshire and beyond together. The group has ambitions to become the largest and most active tech community in the UK.
