Six Town Housing (STH) has been named finalist in the category of ‘Best for Flexible Work’ at the first ever Greater Manchester Good Employment Awards, hosted by Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Etc. Venues in Manchester on Thursday 3 March.

The Awards recognise excellent employment practice amongst Greater Manchester employers. The ‘Best for Flexible Work’ category celebrates the commitment to good employment, and to making a difference in creating flexible, inclusive working schedules, whilst striving for better working conditions across the region.

Last December, STH became a member of the Good Employment Charter. As a Member, STH are committed to providing work that is secure, flexible and fairly paid, ensuring our employees are developed, well-managed and engaged, with their health and well-being a top priority.

Sharon McCambridge, Chief Executive at Six Town Housing, said:

“We are proud to be recognised as a finalist in this category – This is a great achievement and demonstrates our commitment to supporting customers and colleagues, even during these difficult times. Our dedication to flexible working ensures we continue to deliver excellent services to our customers by finding inclusive and new ways of working.”
