Tile Mountain to Join Liverpool Shopping Park on Edge Lane

National retailer Tile Mountain has signed a 10 year lease at Liverpool Shopping Park for its first Merseyside showroom.

Tile Mountain will take the 8,000 sq. ft unit next to B&Q, which makes the lifestyle part of Liverpool Shopping Park now fully let. National bed retailer Dreams recently confirmed it will join the park, taking the 10,021 sq. ft unit at the junction of Edge Lane and Rathbone Road.

James Maule-Finch, Senior Asset Manager for The Derwent Group, which owns Liverpool Shopping Park said: “It is fantastic to see retailers in this part of the market doing so well, particularly as the nation has turned its attentions to DIY during lockdown.

“We welcome Tile Mountain to Liverpool Shopping Park and expect them to benefit greatly from the footfall of its neighbour B&Q, as well as the unit’s prime frontage onto Edge Lane. They are a great addition to our line-up and fulfil our vision to dedicate this part of the park to homes and interiors.”

CSP and McMullen RE acted for the Derwent Group and Knight Frank acted for Tile Mountain.

Liverpool Shopping Park opened in October 2017 and includes high profile brands including Next, M&S Food Hall, River Island, H&M, Chiquito, TK Maxx and Smyths Toys.

Liverpool Shopping Park is owned by The Derwent Group, which is part of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation and operates in the retail, leisure, industrial and commercial sectors. The group’s retail portfolio extends to 1.74m sq ft across nine retail parks in the north of England. Through The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation, The Derwent Group generates grants to charitable causes in excess of £10 million per annum.
