Yorkshire law firm builds team with new appointment

A conveyancing expert with over 20 years of experience has joined a West Yorkshire legal firm to expand its new build offering.

Jessica McKenzie has joined the Eatons Solicitors team at Weatherhead and Butcher, its Bingley office, bringing experience in residential conveyancing with a specific focus on new build property transactions

Working directly with the firm’s recently appointed conveyancing executive, Angela Britton and executive assistant Julie Fowler, Jessica is responsible for purchases, lease extensions and transfer of equity.

Jessica said: “It’s fantastic to be able to develop Eatons Solicitors’ new build and residential offering. It’s a really exciting time for the business which is evolving in line with market and client needs and constantly innovates to ensure it leads in our specialisms. The conveyancing department is incredibly fast paced which suits my large law firm experience, and I enjoy the excitement of working across a variety of long-standing and new clients.”

She added: “The team are so welcoming and it’s a delight to work with such recognised legal experts. Their can-do attitude and positive approach is truly refreshing and I’m looking forward to a rewarding career with the company.”

Eatons Solicitors offers legal expertise to commercial and private clients and operates from additional offices in Ilkley, Leeds and Bradford.

Graeme Brown, Ilkley-based managing partner, said: “We’re thrilled to have Jessica on board to further expand our new build property skillset. She has made a great impact so far and we’re looking forward to seeing her strengthen our conveyancing offering across Bingley. Her two decades of experience is impressive and she’s a real asset to our team and client base.”
