Yorkshire’s Got Talent

Following the announcement that tech start-up, Caroo, has extended its offering of free recruitment to businesses across Yorkshire, the recruitment platform has unveiled some of the the most sought-after roles across the region.

Firms including BAE Systems, DLA Piper, Sky Betting and Gaming, IRIS Software Group and Walker Morris LLP are all actively looking to recruit for positions to be held in York, Sheffield and Leeds.

Roles currently available within Yorkshire via the recruitment platform include IT security manager, Software Engineer, IT Operations Engineer and Automation Test Engineers.

Gareth Peterson, managing director of Caroo, said: “During uncertain times we want to make sure our platform is accessible without restriction for anyone looking for jobs and any businesses with job opportunities.”

Caroo has over 20,000 candidates from across the North of England – a number that is increasing daily – and more than 500 brands posting a wide variety of roles.

Candidate profiles are anonymous – they simply detail their skills, interests and experience. At the point of expressing interest in a role – candidates reveal their full profile including videos, images, text and tags for their professional and personal career highlights.

Caroo offers unlimited job ad postings, unlimited users, and the ability to contact as many candidates as wanted. Meanwhile, recruitment agencies are not allowed on the platform.

Gareth added: “Our entire team is working remotely in a bid to stay safe and well – allowing us to actively help and advise anyone wanting to use the platform whether it be businesses wanting to upload new roles or candidates wanting to create a new profile.”
