Orbit opens new meeting and coworking hub in Birchwood to support Warrington’s growing SME and hybrid workforce
A new flexible meeting and coworking space has opened in Birchwood, Warrington, aimed at supporting local start-ups, SMEs and hybrid teams who need professional space closer to home.

Orbit Spaces has officially launched at The Point, a newly refurbished workspace on Birchwood Boulevard, introducing five modern, tech-enabled meeting rooms alongside a dedicated coworking hub. The opening responds to growing demand from local businesses and remote workers who have previously travelled into Manchester or Liverpool to access suitable meeting facilities.

Located within Birchwood’s established business district and just a short walk from Birchwood train station, The Point offers a well-connected base for businesses operating across Warrington and the wider North West, with easy access to the M6 and M62.

Orbit says the new space is designed to fill a clear gap in the local market — the shortage of high-quality, flexible meeting rooms and modern coworking environments available on short-term or ad-hoc bookings.

A spokesperson for Orbit Spaces, said:
“This opening is a real landmark for the Birchwood business community. It provides a modern, sleek location that local businesses, remote workers and growing teams can genuinely make use of without needing to travel further afield.

We believe that quality breeds quality. Working in a space that inspires you can make a real difference to focus, collaboration and ultimately achieving your goals.”

The Point is Orbit’s latest regional expansion and builds on demand from existing clients alongside the continued growth of SMEs in Warrington and Birchwood. The site includes five newly refurbished meeting rooms equipped for presentations, interviews and team sessions, as well as flexible coworking space for freelancers, start-ups and hybrid workers.

Tyler Costello, Leasing Director at Orbit Developments, added:
“Birchwood has a strong and well-established business presence, and The Point allows us to offer something genuinely useful to that community. It’s about giving local businesses access to professional space on their doorstep, while supporting collaboration and growth across the area.”

To mark the launch, Orbit will be hosting an open day on 21st January, inviting local businesses and professionals to view the space. The company is also planning a launch competition offering free meeting room usage and a complimentary coworking membership, alongside charity discounts available on request.

Orbit says there is potential to expand the offering in future, with dedicated desks being considered as part of a serviced workspace model, depending on demand.
