186 Property Solutions has completed improvement works at 12 schools across the Tees Valley during the Spring half-term break.
The Darlington-headquartered refurbishment specialist carried out a busy programme of upgrades while pupils and staff were off-site, ensuring that learning time was not disrupted.
Projects were delivered at schools including Breckon Hill Primary School, Brambles Primary Academy and St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School.
Works undertaken during the half-term window included classroom and washroom refurbishments, new flooring, the creation of sink stations, the construction of cupboards and storage areas, and the installation of fire door sets.
All work was carefully scheduled to take place during the school holidays so that pupils could return to upgraded and modernised facilities at the start of the new term.
Schools are becoming an increasingly important focus for 186 Property Solutions within the public sector. Director Mike Besterfield now leads all education-related projects, strengthening the company’s commitment to supporting schools across the region and beyond.

The latest programme builds on the company’s expanding education portfolio. Last year, 186 Property Solutions reported a 25% increase in turnover, driven in part by a significant rise in education-sector work, including 64 school contracts completed during the summer period alone.
