Family soap company opens first pop-up presence in Wakefield

A Barnsley-based family business, which creates handmade bath and body products, has opened its first pop-up presence in The Ridings Shopping Centre in Wakefield.

The Pretty Little Co. has partnered with Made and Found in Yorkshire, a collaborative store comprising of locally selected small businesses.

Made and Found in Yorkshire approached Pretty Little Treat managing director, Vicky Woodger in 2019 after recognising the high quality of their handmade product offering.

The Pretty Little Treat Co. produces beautifully presented, handmade, vintage-inspired bath products for both men and women, using natural and locally sourced ingredients. The firm recently implemented 100% sustainable packaging for its products, which are perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, wedding favours and other occasions.

Prior to setting up shop in Wakefield, The Pretty Little Treat Co. sold most of its products solely through their website.
Managing director, Vicky Woodger commented:

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have joined forces with Made and Found Yorkshire. The level of talent in the shop is tremendous and it’s incredibly exciting to be alongside some other amazing local businesses.

“A pop-up store is a great way to explore an additional revenue stream to an eCommerce business and we’re excited to see the results and obtain feedback from our customers. The is just one of many plans we have for The Pretty Little Treat Co. this year.”
