Estate agency group My Property Box has been named North East Estate Agency of the Year at the My Local Awards 2026 following a year of acquisitions, strategic partnerships and continued regional expansion.
The business, with offices in Darlington, Newcastle, and Northallerton, received the accolade after a 12-month period that saw it strengthen its market position through further acquisitions, secure a partnership with award-winning housebuilder Bussey & Armstrong and continue to grow its presence across the North East and North Yorkshire.
The company recently completed the acquisition of Ashington-based Clarke Holland – its 16th acquisition in seven years – further strengthening its position in the regional lettings market. The deal followed earlier acquisitions of Ready to Rent and Newton Assets as part of an ambitious buy-and-build strategy backed by multi-million-pound investment from BGF.
My Property Box was also recently appointed by Darlington housebuilder Bussey & Armstrong to lead the marketing and sales of future phases at the award-winning West Park Garden Village development, reflecting its ability to combine digital marketing expertise with in-depth local market knowledge.
Alongside its commercial growth, the business has continued to invest in its people, maintaining strong staff retention while fostering a culture focused on collaboration, professional development and customer service.
The latest accolade follows My Property Box being named Service Provider of the Year at the Blue Bricks Magazine Property Awards in 2024.
