North west agency chills out on strategy day

Chester based digital agency Prodo’s annual strategy day is always a memorable event, and this year was was no exception when the team of 60 headed for Manchester’s Chill Factore indoor ski and snowboard slope.

After a morning of interactive problem-solving and presentations, the team suited up for the Sub-Zero Race Challenge. Five teams let loose on the snow and competed against the clock to build igloos and sledges and relay-race a luge, a sledge and an inflatable rubber ring. Once the points had been totted up and the prizes presented, the day rounded off with skiing, snowboarding or relaxing in the bar.

Prodo’s CEO, Pippa Adams, said: “After last year’s amazing strategy day at HubSpot in Dublin, we wanted to do something completely different. The Chill Factore was the perfect venue for a fantastic, fun day that also helped to align us for the next 12 months.

“As we grow, it’s important to take time out to think about the big picture and what matters to us as a business. Company culture is an important focus for us and, as always, the team’s energy and enthusiasm blew me away. There were a lot of laughs as everyone’s competitive spirit came out, and it was great to see the whole agency giving the activities their all.”
