Miller Homes Yorkshire is celebrating after three of its Site Managers received accolades at the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards.
Elliott Webster at Langley Gate in York, and Simon Hewitt at Knights Manor in Copmanthorpe and Nick Arnold, Site Manager at Hawksley Park in Huddersfield (previously Site Manager at The Avenue at City Fields, Wakefield), received a Quality Award for the high standards of build quality and health and safety achieved at their respective developments. All will now go through the regional final which will take place in October.
“I am so pleased to see our teams constantly achieving these high standards, and huge congratulations go to Elliott, Simon and Nick,” said Justin Tranmere, Regional Managing Director, Miller Homes Yorkshire. “Our Site Managers and their teams have demonstrated outstanding hard work, dedication, and leadership, which is clearly reflected in the quality and presentation of their developments. A particular mention should also go to Elliott who has received the award for the second year in a row.”
Six of the housebuilder’s Yorkshire developments entered this year’s competition, mirroring the achievements last year. Impressively, all reached second stage marking, with three receiving the awards. In total, fifteen Site Managers from across the Miller Homes group received awards.
The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are assessed across over 40 areas of site management, including technical knowledge, quality control and the ability to keep consistent throughout the build process. Therefore, to be recognised as highly successful in every one of these sections is an incredible achievement
