Yorkshire Design Agency’s New Role To Help Startup Businesses

Branding and website design agency Breaking Free Design has become a patron of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce to support new and emerging businesses.

The Chamber provides advice, guidance and benefits to almost 800 businesses across Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield. Other patrons include John Smith’s Stadium, Leeds Beckett University and the Piece Hall.

Kyle Wisniewski, Director of Breaking Free Design said:
“The team at the Mid Yorkshire Chamber have helped our business to grow. Now we’d like to work closely with other young businesses in the area. Being a patron gives us the chance to assist new entrepreneurs to grow and educate future business owners by giving talks in schools.”

Breaking Free Design has worked with the Chamber for several years on refreshing branding and design for their events and conferences. The agency is also a partner of the Kirklees Business Conference.

The agency’s clients include Manchester University, John Smith’s Stadium and the NHS. It also works with startups and small and medium-sized businesses across West Yorkshire.

Kyle Wisniewski added:
“We enjoy working with people who are starting their own businesses and bringing their ideas to life. With the pandemic, more and more people are choosing to start a company. And we’ve been able to help many of them establish their businesses online and reach their potential customers.”

Over 16,000 new businesses have launched in West Yorkshire since the first lockdown in March 2020, according to research by Capital on Tap.

Martin Hathaway, Managing Director of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Breaking Free Design as a patron of the Chamber. This expands the support we’re able to give to the local business community. With the current challenges for businesses, it’s important for them to have the help they need to get started and to grow.”

“Our patrons play a vital role in the Chamber. As respected organisations in the area, they take a leading role in the business community. They also add weight to our lobbying activity and help to give local businesses a more powerful voice as a result.”

The patron role has been supported by the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership, the West Yorkshire Combined Authority and the Northern Powerhouse.

Breaking Free Design was set up by Kyle Wisniewski in 2014. The agency has grown from providing graphic design for local businesses to branding and website design for household names.
