A born and bred Yorkshire man, who also works in the county as an airline pilot, has bought a new home in his childhood village thanks to a leading housebuilder.
Will Jennings, 24, an airline pilot based at Leeds Bradford airport, has lived in Copmanthorpe near York all his life and was thrilled when Miller Homes launched its Knight Manor development there last year.
“I had been thinking about buying a new home for a while but hadn’t really known where to look,” said Will. “I love living in Copmanthorpe – it’s lovely and peaceful and so close to York and an easy commute for me to work, so staying here was a great option for me, brought to reality thanks to Miller Homes.”
Will bought a three bedroom detached home and as a solo purchaser took advantage of the 5% deposit contribution from the housebuilder and also added extra items from Miller Homes’ Options range to the property to personalise it.
All Will had to do was unpack his belongings and enjoy living in his energy efficient, low maintenance home.
