Yorkshire-based Crescent Business Support has been awarded a prestigious business award, scooping a win at the UK VA Awards 2022.
The award win for Lead VA with a Large Team category is the second in quick succession for Crescent Business Support which is run by entrepreneur Amy Russell, having won the VA of the Year award at The PA Way Annual Awards Ceremony just eight months earlier.
The UK VA Awards provides a benchmark of excellence that helps the industry to progress in the business sphere; it continues to promote the role and value of Virtual Assistants to global corporates; entrepreneurs and SME business networks and to recognise Virtual Assistants themselves for the contributions they make.
Amanda Johnson – from company VACT, who runs the UK VA Awards said:
“We had record number of entrants for the newly rejuvenated UK VA Awards this year and so Amy should be congratulated on featuring as a Runner Up in the Outstanding VA of the Year category and Winner of Lead VA with a Large Team. Crescent Business Support was one of the younger businesses in both of these categories and the judges described her business as impressive.”
The first UK VA Conference and Awards took place in 2007. In October 2021, the UK VA Conference, UK VA Awards and the BeMyVA Directory were bought by Amanda Johnson of VACT Limited.
Crescent Business Support also won the VA of the Year award at The PA Way Annual Awards Ceremony in March 2022. The PA Way is a global community that recognises, rewards, and celebrates assistants and business support professionals.
This is a testament to Amy and her team’s dedication and hard work.
Amy Russell, founder of Crescent Business Support commented:
“The shock of being honoured by my industry will never go away, and I will continue to be humbled when receiving an award. Being chosen as Lead VA with a large team was an honour for Crescent, with much emphasis on my team, who deserves this award more than just me.”
Crescent Business Support continues to grow in a rapidly evolving industry, with more businesses embracing mass virtual migration within the last few years.
Amy Russell, a multi-award-winning VA and company founder, started her VA business in 2018 after realising that many business owners were attempting to serve everyone, frequently leaving them with skill gaps and insufficient time in the day.
