Flexitallic has launched INTEGRA Technologies UK as its dedicated field services and maintenance division, marking a significant step in the company’s evolution into a full end-to-end joint integrity provider.
The launch brings together Flexitallic’s sealing design and manufacturing expertise with on-site engineering support and its cloud-based joint management platform, Flexlogics®. The integrated approach provides full joint traceability, combining calculations, training, asset management and workflows into a single solution for operators managing critical industrial assets.
The business has established a dedicated operational area at Flexitallic’s Ellesmere Port facility, supported by an initial £750,000 investment in bolt tensioning and torquing equipment. Recruitment is under way to build a specialist engineering team as demand grows.
Initial services include site and joint inspection, integrity management, and bolt tensioning and torquing, with additional capabilities such as flange facing and pipe cutting planned for rollout.
Backed by more than 30 years of bolted joint integrity experience in North America, INTEGRA Technologies UK will support a wide range of industries with specialist on-site services, including bolting, machining, integrity testing and emissions-reduction solutions.
Bolted joint failures can lead to environmental harm, production losses and unplanned shutdowns. INTEGRA’s total joint integrity approach is designed to ensure joints are correctly engineered, accurately installed and effectively maintained throughout their operational life, supporting planned maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds and emergency call-outs.
The new UK operation will serve sectors including chemical processing, oil and gas, petrochemicals, refining, LNG, hydrogen, power generation, nuclear, aviation and transportation.
