Forget Me Not launches 99 Business Club in Manchester

Regional businesses are invited to join Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice for a lunchtime networking event in the company of Christiaan McLeod, ex-Royal Marine and polar race leader, to mark the launch of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice 99 Business Club in Manchester.

This very special event is being held at 12.30 on Friday 17th November 2017, hosted by HSBC Corporate Banking in their office in Spinningfields, Manchester. Over nibbles and refreshments you will have the chance to hear a little about Forget Me Not and the charity’s 99er network, and you will also hear from inspirational guest, Christiaan McLeod.

During a 10 year career in the Royal Marines specialising in operations in extreme environments, Chris was, amongst other things, seconded to the Royal Hong Kong Police as Head of Anti-Smuggling. On leaving the Marines Chris soon became the only person to have raced twice to the Magnetic North Pole. Chris will be sharing the story of his adventures, along with the leadership lessons he has learnt along the way.

The 99 Business Club brings businesses in the region together for networking, publicity, social media promotion, new ideas and information, and help reach and expand their CSR objectives.

Over the past six years Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice has grown from being just an idea to the point today where the charity is caring for more than 350 children with life shortening conditions and their families in West Yorkshire. Now, Forget Me Not is bringing that same care to children and their families in North Manchester.

The support the charity receives from the business community has been vital in enabling us to grow our care, and much of this support comes through its 99 Business Club, which the charity is now launching in Manchester.
