Manchester and London-based Lawyers Inc., which has created a new model under which law firms can successfully flourish, is the running for three prestigious legal awards.
The recognition comes for the company’s innovative approach, developed in close working with the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, which enables individual lawyers, legal teams and entire law firms to join its organisation and work as part of a successful operation toward a more desirable and profitable future.
Alongside financial security and potentially enhanced earnings, Lawyers Inc., which is currently relocating from Blackfriars Street to Parkway Business Centre in Manchester to accommodate planned expansion, affords lawyers exit and succession planning and an enhanced work/life balance.
Solicitors Journal magazine, which has provided a voice for solicitors for 160 years, has shortlisted Lawyers Inc. in a new “Working in Partnership” category in its 2017 awards, which aim to celebrate and recognise the very best in the legal profession.
The category recognises those who have offered innovative new services to legal organisations, demonstrated commitment to tackling industry-wide issues, worked with legal clients to promote and raise their profile, been seen as the “go-to” product or service for legal professionals and who are seen to believe in and promote the values of the profession.
The awards will be judged at a prestigious awards ceremony to be held on 17 May at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London, hosted by ex-England rugby player Brian Moore.
Lawyers Inc. has also been shortlisted in two categories of the Legal Week Innovation Awards 2017. It is in the running for the the ABS (Alternative Business Structure) Innovation Category, as well as competing alongside some leading names in the Future of Legal Services Innovation Category.
The Awards, now in their third year, celebrate outstanding achievement within the legal profession and recognise exceptional achievement and best practice that underline the crucial role in promoting innovation played by lawyers, working in tandem with colleagues in other disciplines such as business development. They will be presented at The Brewery in London on May 26.
David Tucker, whom, with life-long friend and Manchester lawyer Martyn Caplan created and launched Lawyers Inc. in response to many of the issues preventing law firms from growing and succeeding, says: “Being recognised by the judging panels of these highly respected awards as an organisation which is making a positive impact in the legal world is a huge honour.

Lawyers Inc. which began trading in December 2015, has four teams ‘or pods’ of lawyers on board. Joining lawyers have so far enjoyed an average net earnings increase of 48 per cent.
