Newcastle logistics professional scoops up national award

Grace Brown, winner at this years Generation Logistics Awards

Newcastle logistics professional, Grace Brown, has scooped up a national award for all of her efforts in her role as a Logistics Degree Apprentice with Asda.

Grace’s recent award win comes from the 2025 Generation Logistics Awards, a national awards celebrating talent who are helping to shape the future of the sector. The awards are run by Generation Logistics, a sector-led awareness campaign shining a light on the young people powering logistics, including Grace.

Recognised for the huge impact that she has had since joining the company, the 2025 Generation Logistics ‘Trailblazer’ award celebrates all of Grace’s achievements to date, particularly her pivotal role in Asda’s large-scale systems upgrade, which saw her resolve complex issues and improve efficiency of the project.

Alongside this, Grace has also developed full managerial skillsets, delivered talks at the House of Commons, and continues to stand as a Climate Ambassador for a local school, promoting awareness and education around sustainability issues. She was also a Finalist at the Logistics Everywoman Awards, which shines a light on women working in transport and logistics.


Speaking on her award win, Grace Brown commented: “Winning the Trailblazer Award as a degree apprentice for Asda is such a proud moment. Balancing study with hands-on experience has given me invaluable opportunities to learn, grow, and hopefully inspires others to see the potential of a career in logistics.”
