Yorkshire firm puts Zest into UK festivals

A Leeds-based cocktail company has been contracted to provide bars for ten leading UK festivals this year, a contract which is collectively worth over £100,000.

Zest Mixology, which has recently celebrated its fifth year in business, is run by successful entrepreneur, Murdo MacLeod, who runs a close-knit team to cater for a variety of events across the UK.

Having experienced a consistent 30% year-on-year growth since the company’s inception, the festival contracts add to the firm’s high profile portfolio of successful events for clients including Apple, BMW, Hilton, Volkswagen, as well as national supermarket chains such as ASDA, Tesco and Iceland.

Zest Mixology Managing Director, Murdo MacLeod comments:

“This year we have gained our biggest festival contracts to date which demonstrates how far we have come in just five years and I have ambitious plans to double the size of the business within the next year.”

As well as festivals and corporate functions, the business is behind some of the UK’s biggest event management companies, as well as private parties, weddings and exhibitions. To date, Zest Mixology has provided services for over 2500 events since the company launched in 2011.

Following the success of catering for eight festivals’ bars last year, Zest Mixology will continue to operate VIP cocktail bars at major festivals across the UK. This will commence at festivals next month including Yorkshire’s own Leeds festival, where the Zest Mixology team will be running the Relentless bar with a range of drinks options to suit all festival-goers.

They will also be running exclusive cocktail bars at Reading, Parklife, Blue Dot Download, Wireless festival, Lovebox, Citadel and Wilderness.
