West Yorkshire-based sealing technology specialist Flexitallic has strengthened its presence in South East Asia after appointing Singapore-headquartered Petracarbon as its Allied Partner for Thailand and Singapore.
The agreement will improve access to Flexitallic’s specialist sealing technologies, engineering expertise and technical support across two of the region’s most important industrial markets.
Headquartered in Cleckheaton, Flexitallic manufactures many of its market-leading sealing products at its flagship production facility in the town. Its wider UK network includes service centres in Aberdeen, Middlesbrough, Ellesmere Port and Bridgend, providing engineering support, joint integrity services, technical training and product distribution to customers across the energy, petrochemical and industrial sectors.
Petracarbon brings more than 40 years of experience supplying engineering products and services to the oil and gas, marine, petrochemical and industrial sectors. Operating across five countries, the company has established a strong reputation for delivering specialist joint integrity services designed to improve safety, reliability and operational performance.
Under the agreement, Petracarbon will offer the full Flexitallic product portfolio, complementing its existing service capabilities while providing customers with improved product availability and greater supply chain resilience.
The partnership will also combine Petracarbon’s engineering expertise with Flexitallic’s sealing technologies, including Change™ and Thermiculite®, helping customers reduce downtime, improve plant reliability and enhance operational performance.
