A Greater Manchester financial planning and wealth management firm and its entire team of advisers have secured elite status in a new UK guide.
Five chartered financial planners at Suttons Independent Financial Advisors – Ben Preston, Richard Higgs, Luke Mather, Chris Pughe and Steven Walker – are recognised in the VouchedFor 2026 Top Rated Financial Adviser Guide.
They are joined by head of mortgage services Ben Horsfield and Saf Sulehman, who is an independent financial adviser.
Collectively, the seven experts have more than 125 years of financial services experience.
The guide is based on verified client reviews on VouchedFor, and this marks the sixth year in a row that members of the Suttons team have been named as top-rated advisers in the North of England.
Alongside their individual success, Sale-based Suttons has been named for the third time as a top-rated firm nationally for those with fewer than 10 advisers.
Meanwhile, Suttons is in line for three accolades at the VouchedFor Client Experience 2026 Awards.
It is shortlisted in the client experience and client impact categories, and Ben Horsfield is a finalist in the mortgage adviser of the year category. The national awards ceremony will take place in London on Thursday, May 7.
Ben Preston, who is Suttons’ managing director, said: “To have our advisers and the firm featured in this year’s guide is a fantastic achievement for Suttons, and one of which we are extremely proud.
“Recognition of this kind is particularly important and gratifying, because it is driven by direct feedback from our clients based on their experience of the advice they’ve received. This makes it a genuine reflection of the trust they place in us.
“Our team is committed to providing high-quality financial advice that makes a tangible difference to our clients’ lives and the prospects they have for the future. It is pleasing to see that dedication recognised in such a respected guide, and also by being shortlisted for several awards.”
The firm, which was established in 2006 by Harvey Sutton, provides wealth management, tax, pensions, and retirement planning advice to a client base that includes professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs, retirees and entire families. It also advises on mortgages, protection and savings.
It has seen assets under management rise to more than £330m as a result of organic growth and acquisitions. It recently completed the acquisition of Wilmslow-based KSP Financial, and last year bought Bolton firm Whitewell Financial Planning.
Suttons, which has 22 staff, is continuing to seek opportunities for further acquisitions in line with its growth plans.
