A leading housebuilder, which has developments located across Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire, has raised in excess of £13,500 from its annual golf day.
Miller Homes Teesside, which selected Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) as its chosen charity for 2026 once again, held the Golf Day at Wynyard Golf Club where the team was joined by colleagues, contractors and suppliers from across its supply chain.
“Each year we choose a Teesside based charity to support and over the last few years it’s been GNAAS,” said Mark Bayliss, Regional Managing Director, Miller Homes Teesside. “Thanks to the generosity of our colleagues, contractors and suppliers we had a very enjoyable day and also raised a considerable amount towards our 2026 target.”
Twenty-four teams took part in the competition, which was hard fought with Black and Heale taking the winner’s trophy on the day.
The event has taken the team close to their £20,000 annual target and with more events planned for the latter half of the year they are hoping to achieve their aim.
GNAAS is a charity which receives no NHS funding and offers a vital service across Teesside, the Northeast, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man. It’s skilled team of paramedics, pilots and doctors have three helicopters at their disposal which operate from bases in Penrith, Cumbria and Eaglescliffe, County Durham. And, with a daily operating cost of £25,200, support from businesses such as Miller Homes is imperative.
Miller Homes Teesside currently has seven developments across the region offering a range of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes for sale.
