Continued expansion at leading North East SEO agency, Evolved Search

L-R Hayley Wright, Lou Crane, Lydia Booth and Louise Findlay

North East digital marketing agency, Evolved Search, has hired four new members of staff and added a new Director to the company as their exciting growth plans continue to take shape.

The company has welcomed 11 new faces over the last 12 months, taking total headcount to 25, and recently acquired additional office space in The Toffee Factory to allow for further growth over the next 18 months, as they aim to double their revenue by 2020.

Hayley Wright, Louise Findlay, Lydia Booth and Lou Crane have all joined this Autumn, adding 20 years of combined marketing industry experience, gained at respected agencies including Orange Bus and McCann, and in-house at brands such as Mattel and Egger Group.

Operations Director, Ian McIntosh, said: “We’re thrilled to have welcomed Louise, Hayley, Lydia and Lou to the team, following a fantastic fourth year of trading.

“Their backgrounds and experience in digital will certainly help to strengthen our current offering as we strive towards our growth targets. We still have three vacancies to fill, so we can’t wait to see how our team develops and grows even further over the coming year.”

Hayley Wright, speaking of her new role as SEO Account Manager, added; “I’m really excited to have joined Evolved and can’t wait to get stuck into supporting the great work that the team are delivering. The agency represents excellence in SEO, not only in the North East, but across the UK, so I’m proud that I’ll be able to contribute to that.”

The agency recently appointed a third Director in Tom Etherington, previously Head of Search, to facilitate this growth and continue improving the standard of delivery for clients and building Evolved’s reputation as a leader in the search marketing industry.

Tom added: “It’s been a whirlwind year for the agency, gaining further recognition in the industry and taking on more great clients in the process, so our main priority is to continue providing the expertise and high-quality campaigns that we’re known for, with hopefully some more award wins along the way!”

Over the past 3 months, the agency has been shortlisted for 14 prestigious industry awards, including 5 at the UK Search Awards, 3 at The Drum Content Awards, 1 apiece at the Northern Marketing Awards and Northern eCommerce Awards, plus another 4 at the upcoming North East Marketing Awards.

Additionally, Senior PR & Outreach Manager, Ruth Walker, has been named on the shortlist of the Women in Marketing awards, which celebrates female excellence in the Marketing field on an international scale.
