Warrington-based eatery to offer free meals on Armistice Day

Warrington-based eatery, Eat Clean Cuisine, will be opening its doors to serve free meals for Armed Forces veterans and serving officers on Armistice Day.

The Eat Clean Cuisine team will spend all day on Sunday 11th November dishing up a range of wholesome free meals to serving officers and veterans in recognition of their outstanding effort and service to the country.

The team started the initiative last year during their first few months in operation but owner, Myles Smethurst, is keen to welcome even more troops and veterans this year.

Myles, whose Grandad is a former Royal Navy chef, said: “The dedication our Armed Forces show to our country is immeasurable, so offering free food is the least we could do for them. It’s a small token of the respect we should show to these wonderful people who have or still do, quite literally, put their life on the line for all of us.

“The Armed Forces hold a very special place in my heart and so the team and I are really looking forward to welcoming them into our shop and thanking them personally.”

Eat Clean Cuisine was set up in 2016 after owner, Myles, realised there were no healthy take-away style options available in Warrington. He discovered a unique opportunity to open a healthy-eating bistro and the venture has since gone from strength to strength.

Myles previously worked as a chef for over 17 years prior to setting up Eat Clean Cuisine and served celebrities such as Michael Owen, The Arctic Monkeys and Ronan Keating.

Eat Clean Cuisine offers personalised, affordable meal preparation and diet plans, corporate lunches and delivers across the country.
